Sometimes dreams do come true...

Okay then....

So this week was crazy...

I dont know how to even put in to words this past week..

All i have to say is THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

So lets begin with last monday. I didnt tell you this in my email because i was a little freaked out, but I had one heck of a dream last monday before changes. I had a partially scary, partially happy, very interesting dream that I was walking around in the streets of my first area in monterry again. I told Elder Efigenio about this dream first thing in the morning. I knew there was changes, and I figured that there was a very slim chance that I could have changes, but there was no way in the world that I would go back to monterrey reason being that the zone Leaders of zone Toncontin are in monterrey. I patiently waited most of last monday waiting form the call to let us know what was going on with the changes. Well... when i got the call, the zone leaders went through all told me everyone in the district who had changes and then said, " Now lets talk about whats happening with you Elder High..." all i heard is Elder High is out and you are going to be a Zone leader in Toncontin.... in area Monterrey A... So yeah.. I am back in my first area of Monterrey, and I can honestly say, I am ready for it! Things are so different than from when I was here the first time. All the members this past week have been like, "do you speak spanish now??" haha The people are still the same, but I have changes so much. My mindset has changed, my attitud has changed, really everything has changed. Many members has comentated on the huge change that they have seen, and how different I am now. I dont quite know how to take it all, but yes, I guess I have changed in this past year. Also all the members say that i look a lot skinnier which is something...

So something else that is interesting, is my new companion is an awesome elder named Elder Paiz. His parents are from gualtemala, but he was born and raised in Florida. English is his native and first language, but he speaked fluent spanish before the mission. He was my zone leader when I was in campamento, and I was his district leader haha. We already were super tight from the last few changes, and here we are as companions! Really, things are going to be great, I am so excited to be in Monterrey again. Thats about all i have to report on now, things are looking up and looking great for old man Elder High!

Love yall

Heyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya, so this is going to proably be a short one also. We are currently waiting for a call from Presidente, because tomorrow is changes, and there is actulally a good change that im out sadly. When we get the call, we have to split to get things prepared.

So this week was a week of trial. All sorts of things happened. I still have the mountain of work that doesnt seem to have an end, and we ran into a few problems in the district this week that restricted our work. First off, there is this new outbreak of a disease called Zika. One of the sisters contracted this disease, and had to get sent home. That sucked, but it was what it was. The other sisters in the district had a man ready to be baptized. He passed the interview and everything, but in the last minuet, he decided itd be better to wait a week or two. The other Elders had 4 baptisms in this last week, so we had to go down to their little town 4 times this past week to conduct the interviews. Really i have no complains about the week, just the work that we had, hasnt gone anywhere, its still waiting. Hopefully this next week we will get more time for us to do our work.

I really am ready to go wherever i need to go and do whatever i need to do. If the Lord needs me here in Campamento for another change, ill stay. If the Lord needs me to go, Ill go. So yeah, Ill keep yall posted!

Keep on keeping on, and have an excellent week

Much work to do

Buenas Días mi querido Familia

Alright, First off, I want to give my appoligy for not writing a whole bunch last week. I have been insanly busy, and have had to make a few sacrifices. I promise I will always write at least that I am still living, but at times, I get swamped and cant write my normal essays. Yes, I am still here, and I am still doing what ive always been doing. As I mentioned, I have had to make some heavy sacrifices in these last few weeks. That is one of the higher laws of heaven that i have learned a ton about in this past weeks. The bigger the sacrifices, the bigger the blessings. We essentially sacrificed our whole week last week to help the other missioners in the district motivate some investagators, have baptism intervews, and to put together 5 baptisms in the district. Ya know, these 5 people may not be my converts, but thaks to the sacrifices of me and my companion, there are 5 new members of this church which is good enough for me.

There has also been a few other big sacrifices that have been made this past week. So we have been working in the town of Campamento for the past 10 weeks. Last week, Presidente called and told us that we need to start working in a other town about 45 minuets out of Campamento called Concordia. There is no members, there is very few buses that go there, and it is realitivly small. The thing is, is that there are so many people ready to be baptized and ready to be a part of the true church, but there is no means of doing so there, there has never been missionarys there. Essentially, presidente has asked us to start up a new brach in this small little town. We are still living in campamento, but every morning, we wake up and take a bus down to Concordia to spend the day of work there. It is a huge sacrifice, but it is expaning this church into new grounds. We have the hope and the prayer that next change President will put Elders there full time to open the area and to officially open a branch.

I fell like i am in the prime time of my mission. I have never felt better. Literally, we are helping so many people come unto Christ. Not always diectly are we doing this either. i love what Elder Uchtdorf said about simplifying our life, because often times, it is the simplest things that we do, that define us, and impact others. We dont have to be living a giant complicated life, doing a ton of complicated things. Christ taught that through small and simple things, grand things come to pass. Through a tiny bit of Faith, comparable to a mustard seed, mountains can move. Like always, you all are always in my prayers. That is something small and simple that I am doing to help you indirectly. Just keep on keeping on doing those things which are small and simple.
